Turn-based tactical RPG King’s Bounty 2 delayed for the second time

The King's Bounty serial publication is a classic run of strategy games that blends RPG games with turn over-based strategy in a mode similar to Heroes of Might and Magic, and is in galore ways considered a forerunner to Ubisoft's own picture line.

The original was developed by New World Computer science and released in 1990, but last Russian-based 1C Amusement induce been looking after the attribute. The publisher hasn't done anything with the IP since 2014's King's Premium: Unenlightened Side. That is, until King's H.M.S. Bounty II was declared back in Noble 2019.

This new continuation is completely redesigned from the ground-leading, and offers a fully 3D open world and modern sensibilities spell still trying to offer that classic King's Bounty feel. It was in the first place collect to release in 2020, but was then pushed back to March 2021. Straight off we've just had word that the release date has been pushed in reply a second time to belatedly August. Reported to the game's producer, Denis Maltzev, the gamey is "complete and playable", but they want more clip to make sure it's the best it can possibly be.

The full statement from Maltzev reads:

"We are currently at a stage where the game is complete and playable, but we need to a greater extent metre to ending playtesting, fixing, polishing, and postponing launch will give United States the precious months to balancing phase, much needful for such large project for us, with its ambitious, open human beings, its complex communicatory, inexplicable turn-based tactical and RPG mechanics."
